Family owned and operated, Brookdale Dental Group serves patients in Bloomfield, NJ, Essex and surrounding counties. We offer a full line of affordable, advanced general and cosmetic dentistry services. You and your family can count on our doctors and team for all of your dental needs.
We have had the same staff for over a decade — the average time each staff member has been with us is 13 years. From dental implants to routine cleanings, all of us are dedicated to providing you with the best treatment options available. It is our goal to provide you with care and services which help educate you and improve your oral health.
Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis, or Dr. Tony as his patients call him, attended First Avenue Grammar School and Essex Catholic High School in Newark. He graduated from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry. Dr Tony attended and graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey– New Jersey Dental School, Newark New Jersey.
Dr. Tony worked as an associate in the Scotch Plains, NJ area for four years and then purchased a dental practice in Upper Montclair, NJ in 1989. The practice grew and his brother Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis became an associate and eventually a partner when the office moved to its present location in Bloomfield, NJ, which became The Brookdale Dental Group.
Dr. Tony is a member of The Western Essex Study Club, Jersey Shore Study Club, ITI Study Club and the Fauchard Dental Society. He also donates his time and services to Healing The Children Midlantic NA, from which he received the prestigious Sergio Award for outstanding service.
Much of Dr. Tony’s spare time is spent with his wife, Jane, and his daughter, Francesca.
Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis attended Seton Hall Preparatory School and earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Seton Hall University. Dr. Vincent attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Dental School, earning his degree in 1990.
After graduation, Dr. Vincent joined the practice of his brother, Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis, in Montclair, New Jersey as an associate. In 1994, the practice was relocated to Bloomfield, New Jersey and became the Brookdale Dental Group. At the same time, Dr. Vincent became a full partner in the practice with his brother.
Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Fauchard Dental Society, and the Western Essex Dental Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Vincent enjoys time with his family and coaches in and serves as president of the North Newark Little League and the Newark RBI program.
Annie, Hygienist
Annie, RDH began her career in the dental profession in 1985, as a dental assistant. While working in the dental field, Annie earned an associates degree in dental hygiene in 1992 from Union County College. Annie has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals since 1996. As a professional who truly loves what she does, Annie has developed strong relationships with her very loyal patients. (link to patient information page) This is in no small part due to Annie’s genuine warmth and her kind and compassionate nature. Annie truly becomes a partner in her patients’ care. Her emphasis on prevention of disease and on the education of her patients regarding their dental health makes her a special part of the Brookdale Dental Group team.
Annie and her husband, Dave, enjoy spending their free time traveling, boating, and fishing. They also love playing with their Rottweiler, Daisey.
Nicole, Hygienist
Nicole grew up in Bloomfield, NJ and currently resides in Parsippany with her husband.
She began her career in the dental profession in 2014 as a dental assistant. After working at an Orthodontist office for 5 years, Nicole went back to school for Dental Hygiene. She graduated in 2019 from Bergen Community College and joined our team in June of 2020.
Nicole is a natural when it comes to work with children and her bubbly personality is a great addition to our office. She prides herself on educating her patients about dental health and caring for each individual’s needs. She loves shopping and going to live concerts along with travelling to England to visit her in-laws!
Andrea, Hygienist
At a young age Andrea already knew she wanted a career as a dental hygienist. While in high school, she worked in a dental office and was trained to be a dental assistant and receptionist.
Andrea continued to work in a dental office while she attended New York University College of Dentistry. She graduated from NYU in 1996 with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Throughout her years as a dental hygienist she has maintained a high degree of skill and expertise.
Andrea displays an immeasurable amount of patience and kindness. She prides herself on evaluating her patient’s individual needs while providing outstanding care. In addition to preventing oral disease and promoting oral wellness with education, Andrea’s goal is to provide a comfortable dental visit. She has been working at the Brookdale Dental Group since 2017 and feels so lucky to be a part of the BDG family.
Andrea loves spending her free time with her husband, daughter and toy poodle, especially summers together at the Jersey shore.
Jennifer, Clinical Assistant
Jennifer grew up in Kearny, NJ and currently resides in Clifton with her husband.
Jennifer began her career in dentistry in 2000 and became a registered dental assistant in 2005 after completing her course work at the Dental Studies Institute.
Jennifer joined the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals in 2006 as a treatment coordinator.
Jennifer enjoys helping to ensure that our patients have a positive experience with our practice.
Lisa, Clinical Assistant
Lisa grew up in Belleville, NJ and currently resides in Nutley with her husband Phil, daughter Angelina, and dog Cookie.
Lisa began her dental career in 1987 and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 1997 after completing her course at Dental Studies Institute in Fairfield, NJ.
Lisa joined Brookdale Dental Group in 2018, and enjoys making sure patients feel comfortable and are at ease while receiving their dental treatment.
Daryen, Clinical Assistant
Daryen grew up in Bloomfield, NJ and currently resides in Ringwood, with her husband Tim, teenage son Joseph and daughter Ariel.
She began her work in dentistry in 2012 after finishing the Dental Assisting Program at Fortis Institute.
Daryen started appreciating the field as a young girl with braces and wanted to originally become an orthodontist but is proud of the decision she made to become a dental assistant instead. Daryen started working with our team immediately upon graduation and has been here since.
Daryen’s biggest concern is the comfort of our patients.
Robyn, Practice Administrative Coordinator
Robyn grew up in Kearny, NJ and currently resides in Clifton with her husband and two children. She has been working in the medical field since 1997 and has experience as a medical billing and billing account manager.
Robyn became a registered dental assistant after graduating the Berdan Institute in 2003. She has been a member of the Brookdale Dental Group team of professionals since 2003. Robyn has expertise in both the clinical and administrative areas of the dental field, giving her a versatility that allows her to meet the needs of our patients on a variety of levels.
Marie, Continuing Care Coordinator
Marie has been working in the dental field for over 15 years, sharing all aspects of managing administrative and patient needs. It is her pleasure to coordinate all of our patient’s dental health needs. She loves her work. Most of all, she enjoys the wonderful people she meets while working at Brookdale Dental Group.
Her time away from the office is spent with family and friends. SheI also participates in online support groups to help individuals deal with personal and medical crisis by sharing words of encouragement, inspiration and hope.
Her motto is to always keep smiling.
