Family owned and operated, Brookdale Dental Group serves patients in Bloomfield, NJ, Essex and surrounding counties. We offer a full line of affordable, advanced general and cosmetic dentistry services. You and your family can count on our doctors and team for all of your dental needs.
We have had the same staff for over a decade — the average time each staff member has been with us is 13 years. From dental implants to routine cleanings, all of us are dedicated to providing you with the best treatment options available. It is our goal to provide you with care and services which help educate you and improve your oral health.
Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis, D.M.D.
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis (“Dr. Tony”) attended First Avenue Grammar School and Essex Catholic High School in Newark. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Wilkes University (formerly Wilkes College) in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
He went on to receive his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Dental School (Currently named Rutgers School of Dental Medicine).
After completing his training, Dr. Tony worked as an associate in the Scotch Plains, NJ area for four years before purchasing a dental practice in Upper Montclair in 1989. The practice expanded and, with his brother Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis joining first as an associate and later as a partner, the office ultimately relocated to its current home in Bloomfield, New Jersey, becoming Brookdale Dental Group.
Dr. Tony is an active member of the Western Essex Study Club, Jersey Shore Study Club, and ITI Study Club. He also generously volunteers his time and dental services with Healing the Children Midlantic NA, through which he was honored with the prestigious Sergio Award for outstanding service and as a mentor for a High School student through the Student Partner Alliance.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tony is an avid golfer who enjoys spending time on the course, along with relaxing at the Jersey Shore and working on cars. Much of his time is also devoted to his amazing wife, Jane, and his beautiful daughter, Francesca, enjoying family life whenever he is away from the office.
Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis, D.M.D.
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis attended Seton Hall Preparatory School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Seton Hall University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree in 1990 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine).
Following graduation, Dr. Vinnie joined his brother, Dr. Anthony G. DeVincentis, as an associate in his Montclair practice. In 1994, the practice relocated to Bloomfield, New Jersey, where it became Brookdale Dental Group, and Dr. Vincent became a full partner alongside his brother.
Dr. Vinnie has dedicated his professional career to building a quality general dental practice that is truly patient-centered, treating every patient like family rather than simply a client. He is committed to providing the highest level of care in a comfortable and welcoming environment, and he truly enjoys helping patients improve and maintain both their dental health and their smiles. Dr. Vincent is an active member of the Western Essex Dental Association and remains committed to continuing education in order to provide the most advanced and up-to-date care for his patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vinnie is deeply devoted to his family and enjoys spending time at his condo in Wildwood Crest. An avid reader, he especially enjoys relaxing with a good novel.
Known as “Coach Vin” by many throughout his hometown of Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Vincent P. DeVincentis has dedicated more than 40 years to coaching and leadership in North Newark Little League. In 2006, Dr. Vinnie and his late twin brother, Joseph, founded the Roseville Sports Group of North Newark, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to further support and expand opportunities for local youth through sports and community programs. Dr. Vinnie currently serves as President of both the North Newark Little League and the Roseville Sports Group of Newark.
He was also instrumental in bringing the MLB-RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) Program to the youth of Newark, helping create meaningful opportunities for young athletes throughout the community. He currently serves as the program’s Director.
Annie Anderson, RDH
Annie, RDH began her career in the dental profession in 1985 as a dental assistant, building a strong foundation in patient care early on. She went on to earn her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1992 from Union County College, advancing her clinical skills and deepening her commitment to oral health. Annie has been a Dental Hygienist since 1992 and a valued member of the Brookdale Dental Group (BDG) family since 1995.
She has worked alongside Dr. Tony and Dr. Vinnie for over 30 years, building long-standing relationships with both her colleagues and her patients. Dr. Tony first met Annie when she was working as a dental assistant in Fanwood, where he began his career after graduating. He immediately recognized her talent, dedication, and strong work ethic, and didn’t hesitate to bring her onto his team as soon as the opportunity arose.
Throughout her years in practice, Annie has built lasting relationships with her patients, who appreciate her genuine warmth, kindness, and compassionate approach. She partners with each patient in their care, focusing strongly on prevention, education, and helping individuals understand how to maintain lifelong dental health. Her dedication and personable nature have made her an essential part of the Brookdale Dental Group family, and she is deeply respected by both patients and colleagues.
Outside of the office, Annie enjoys spending time with her husband and their sweet dog. She loves traveling, boating, and fishing, as well as going on long walks with her dog, enjoying weekly date nights with her husband, and spending as much time as possible with her nieces and nephews. Above all, Annie values time with the people she loves most and believes that is what matters most in life.
Stacey Hochstuhl, RDH
Born & raised in Belleville NJ, Stacey has been a Dental Hygienist since 2005 after earning her degree from UMDNJ through Essex County Community College, and joined the BDG Family in 2023. From her very first day, it was clear she would be a perfect fit for the office’s warm and quirky personality. She has a natural ability to connect with patients of all ages, with a special talent for working with children.
Stacey is known for her patience, gentle approach, and welcoming smile that puts every patient at ease. When Stacey is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her three beautiful daughters and her two dogs. She is very spiritual, attends church regularly, and finds comfort and strength in prayer. Stacey also has a wonderful sense of humor and is always quick to laugh at a good joke, bringing a light and positive energy wherever she goes.
As a playful office inside joke, Stacey affectionately became known as the Brookdale Dental “Cat Lady,” even though she is proudly a dog mom. The nickname, first given to her by Dr. Vinnie when she joined the office family, has stuck ever since. She wears it proudly and affectionately, adding even more personality to her already beloved presence at the office.
Meet Our Assistants
Jennifer Pagano, RDA
Originally from Kearny and now residing in Clifton, Jennifer has been a Dental Assistant for more than 25 years and has been a valued member of the BDG Family since 2007. Jen began her career in dentistry in 2000 and became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2005 after completing her coursework at the Dental Studies Institute.
As Head Assistant, she not only supports the doctors chairside but also oversees ordering all dental supplies and maintaining inventory. One of her favorite parts of the role is selecting toys for the treasure chest, bringing extra excitement and joy to the practice’s youngest patients.
Outside of the office, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband and son, especially watching and playing basketball. She is a big fan of the Boston Celtics and loves traveling to Boston with her family to catch games in person. In her downtime, she enjoys reality TV, true crime documentaries, and podcasts. Curling up with a good book is her favorite way to unwind after a long day.
Lisa Matto, RDA
Lisa has been a Dental Assistant since she was 16 years old and has been a proud member of the BDG Family since 2018. She brings with her the most years of experience to the clinical team, having begun her dental career in 1987. Lisa became a Registered Dental Assistant in 1997 after completing her coursework at the Dental Studies Institute in Fairfield, NJ.
Lisa grew up in Belleville, NJ and currently resides in Nutley with her husband, daughter, and their three dogs. From the moment she joined the practice, it was clear she was a perfect fit. Her strong clinical knowledge, combined with her willingness to step in and help wherever needed, makes her an invaluable member of the team. Lisa is always ready to pitch in, helping ensure the office runs smoothly and that patients receive excellent care.
When Lisa is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She also has the biggest sweet tooth—there isn’t a piece of candy she wouldn’t try (it’s a good thing she works in the dental field!). In her free time, she enjoys taking walks and playing with her dogs.
Melanie, Clinical Team Assistant
Melanie may not officially be a Dental Assistant, but she is an incredibly important part of the Brookdale Dental Group clinical team. She joined the BDG family in 2024 as our Clinical Team Assistant and quickly became someone the entire office relies on every day. Melanie is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed, helping keep the clinical area running smoothly and efficiently. She makes sure treatment rooms are fully stocked, helps clean and prepare rooms for patients, and ensures instruments are properly sterilized and organized.
In 2026, Melanie earned her X-ray license, allowing her to become even more involved in patient care and further expand her role within the office. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn make her a valued member of the team.
Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and staying active at the gym whenever she can find the time. She is currently a full-time student at Rutgers University majoring in Biology and plans to continue her education to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. With her dedication and passion for dentistry, we have a feeling we’ll all be calling her “Dr. Mel” before we know it.
Robyn, Practice Administrative Coordinator
A Kearny native Robyn currently resides in Clifton with her husband and their crazy dog. She has worked in the medical/dental field since 1997, bringing extensive experience in medical billing and account management.
After graduating from the Berdan Institute in 2003 (currently named Fortis Colleges and Institutes) as a Registered Dental Assistant, Robyn joined the team at Brookdale Dental Group, where she has been a valued member for over 20 years. With expertise in both the clinical and administrative aspects of dentistry, Robyn offers a well-rounded approach to patient care and is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their dental experience.
Robyn’s two adult children have been patients at Brookdale Dental since they were 3 years old, and their family truly considers everyone at the practice part of their extended family.
When she’s not in the office, Robyn enjoys yoga and crafting, but baking is truly her happy place, and everyone in the office agrees her Chocolate Chip Cookies are better than her sisters.
Marie, Patient Care Coordinator
Marie has been dedicated to the dental field for over 30 years, bringing experience, compassion, and a true passion for helping others. She enjoys coordinating all aspects of our patients’ dental health needs and takes pride in making every patient feel comfortable and cared for. One of the things she loves most about working at Brookdale Dental Group is the wonderful people she has the opportunity to meet each day.
Marie is also a huge fan of Elvis Presley. She loves dancing to his music, watching his movies, and collecting memorabilia that celebrates his legacy. One of her dreams is to visit Memphis one more time, especially to experience the places connected to his life and music.
Outside of her work at Brookdale Dental Group, her love for Elvis brings her a lot of joy and reflects her appreciation for music, nostalgia, and meaningful experiences.
She is also actively involved in online support groups, where she offers encouragement, inspiration, and hope to individuals facing personal and medical challenges.
